Upcoming Spring Programs!

Spring is finally here, along with a great crop of new programs! Find our complete Spring/Summer brochure for 2014 here. If you’re looking for things to do in the next few weeks, we have tons of options for kids from birth to 13, and even a parenting program! Here are some newer programs you might not know about yet:

    Ages 7 and up; English
    Saturdays at 7 pm:
    April 19 / May 17 / June 28 / July 26 / August 16

    One Saturday night a month, We’ll be showing fun and family-friendly films to enjoy together.
    April 19: FernGully

  • Toddler Time

Ages 18 to 36 months; English
Tuesdays at 11 am (Library)
April 22-June 3

Using musical instruments, let’s read, sing, and move together to help your little one develop a passion for rhyme and reading.

Registration required.
Library members free; non-members $25

  • Quest of the Olympians: a Percy Jackson EventQuest-of-Olympians_150px

    Sunday, April 27 at 3 p.m.
    Ages 8 to 12; English

    Fans of author Rick Riordan will love our event, which celebrates the rich world created in the Percy Jackson series. One lucky participant will walk away a very special prize.

  • Stories for Cat LoversStories-for-Cat-Lovers_150px

    Ages 3 to 7; English
    May 4 at 3 pm

    Working with the CSL Cats Committee, we are hosting a fun afternoon filled with cat stories, cat crafts and cat facts. Learn about our favourite felines while finding out what you can do to help the CSL cat population.
    Free. Registration Required.

  • Healthy Mom, Healthy Baby

    Sunday, June 1 at 2 pm

    EnviroARTWORX will be teaching mothers how to create a spectacular body butters that are all natural and not harmful for mom or baby.
    Registration required.
    Library members $5; non-members $7
