Valerie’s “Best of” Picks for 2013

I love reading “best of” lists, particularly when it comes to the best of books lists. Last week, Bronwen posted some of the top-rated YA, as judged by professional critics. Today, I’m going to post about some of my favourites from 2013.  The books that made this list were ones that surprised and delighted me. When it comes to novels (middle grade or YA), I think of the “un-put-downable” factor, which pretty much means a book that made me not want to stop reading.
