Fall Programs: September 2013

It’s always exciting to present a new brochure, and this one is no exception! We have a great fall/winter brochure kicking off in September, which you can find right here.

Starting on September 25, Hippity Hop is beginning again at the library on Wednesdays at 10 am. Come have a coffee afterward at Stroller Derby, and chat with other parents while your little ones play with baby-friendly toys.

toddlertime_150pxThis fall, we’ll be offering a program for the next step up from Hippity Hop, called Toddler Time! The program is tailored to little ones from 18-36 months. We’ll move, sing, and read together in a way that engages little ones who are beginning to talk, walk, and dance. Each week we’ll mix literacy, movement, music, and play. Come join us on Tuesdays, beginning on September 24th at 11:30 in the library. Your toddler will love it! You can call us to register at (514) 485-6900 ext. 4111.

Along with Sunday Storytime, we will have two exciting programs to celebrate Journées de la Culture on Sunday, September 29th. The first is a Musical Storytime which will be tied in with Valerie’s Sunday stories: Fortissimo Music Academy will be leading us in a musical craft activity after some great music-themed books at 11 am! Later that day, we’ll have a very special visit from Eloïse Paré, for a WOW! Green Bunny Workshop origami activity for ages 7-12 at 3 pm (space is limited for this one, so registration is required)!

Starting in September, Family Movie Nights (all ages) and Game Time (ages 8-13) will continue monthly on Saturdays.

Because kids enjoyed our four-week Origami Masters program so much, we will be bringing it back, this time as a monthly Tuesday evening event starting on September 24th, called Origami Masters Club! Registration isn’t open quite yet, but you can call us soon to register kids from 8 to 13.

To register or with questions, please give us a call at (514) 485-6900 ext. 4111. Hope to see you soon at the library!
