We have lots going on in the month of April for kids, but we are adding some great teen programs to the mix this spring. As exams approach, there will be a workshop on Exam Study Skills. We’ll dive into summer with a YA book club and Book-Into-Movie Night hosted by our Teen Advisory Group. For now, we have two upcoming programs–one at the library, one at the Côte Saint-Luc Aquatic and Community Centre–which you shouldn’t miss if you’ve been looking for creative activities for the 11-17 set:
Thursday, April 11 2013
Ages: 11 to 14
April is National Poetry Month, so come join us for an afternoon of rhyme in the ACC Teen Lounge. Listen to some wacky poetry and create your own book spine poem to win a prize!
Sunday, April 28
Ages: 13 and up
Join us for this hands-on activity, where we’ll make our own wall art and funky candle holder. Bring a few of your favourite quotes to personalize your creations!
These activities are free. Call to register at (514) 485-6900, ext. 4111.
Teens, we hope to see you at the library!
