New Programs for the Spring/Summer Season

We have lots of new programs for the Spring/Summer Season.  They should be lots of fun so we hope you can join us!  Here is a sampling of our WOW programs.  These programs require a ticket which can be purchased at our main desk.  If you have any questions, call us!

Celebrate Mo Willem’s Elephant and Piggie Books
Sunday, April 17 @ 2:00 pm
Ages: 4-8
Children will participate in games and crafts based on the popular “Elephant and Piggie” books by Mo Willems.

Snakes and Frogs and toads, Oh My!
Sunday, May 29 @ 1:00 pm
Ages: 4 and up
Reptizoo will be at the library showing off their snakes, frogs and other cool reptile creatures. Not only do you get to see these reptiles and amphibians up close…you get to touch them too!

Duct Tape Workshop
Sunday, June 19 @ 1:00 pm
Ages: 10 and up
What do you want to make? An eye-glass case? A visor? A wallet? a pair of sandals? Bring a partner! Bring a strong pair of scissors!

Science Explosion Workshop
Sunday, July 17 @ 1:00 pm
Ages: 8 and up
A workshop all budding scientists will love! This workshop will amaze with its awesome scientific experiments! Wizz, pop, bang – make giant bubbles, an exploding volcano, see exploding coke fountains and slime!

An Afternoon with Geronimo Stilton
Sunday, August 14 @ 2:00 pm
Ages: 5 and up
Geronimo Stilton at the library? Yes, he will be! Geronimo is on special assignment for the Rodent’s Gazette and needs your help! If you are willing to accept the challenge, join us as we try to get the inside scoop on his latest story. Bring your camera and get your photograph taken with Geronimo.
