Words & Music: Teen program at the library

Starting this Thursday and continuing every Thursday until the end of February we are going to be making some noise in the library!  The library is pleased to have 3 up and coming artists play their music and talk about the importance of words in writing their music to the local teens in our community.

Our first artist is Brittany Kwasnik who is  a 16 year old singer songwriter who found fame when she posted a YouTube video of herself singing and playing her guitar. Her music is part folk, part indie, part pop. Kwasnik recently signed a record deal with Justin Time Records and her first album I Don’t Know Me is slated for release later this year.

Free passes for teens are available at The Main Circulation Desk of the library on a first come, first served basis. There is limit of five free passes per person.

The Eleanor London Côte Saint-Luc Public Library is located at 5851 Cavendish Blvd. and is open from 10am to 10pm every day. For more information, call the library at 514-485-6900 or visit http://www.csllibrary.org.
