Winter break ideas: Royalty Day

Who wouldn’t want to be a king, queen, princess or knight after all?  Why not, during the holidays have royalty day in your house.  It is not very expensive if you visit your local dollar store and it will be tons of fun!  You can decorate the kitchen table with fancy tableclothes, take out the china and set an elaborate table for your meals.  Dress up in your finest clothes to eat your meals.  The kids will love dressing up for their meal.  Create a royal room in your living room with decorated chairs.  The girls can make tiara’s while the boys make swords and shields.  Create a crest for your family that everyone can all contribute to (don’t forget to give your crest a place of honour in the house).  Create a scavenger hunt!  There are lots of activities that you can do.  Below are some ideas from websites.   Also, check out some of the books that we have on royalty at the library.

More people need to read this and perceive this facet of the story. I cant believe youre not more standard since you undoubtedly have the gift.
