Hate List – Jennifer Brown

I am on a roll of reading these days.  I  finished another debut novel yesterday.  Hate List is a gripping tale of a girl, Valerie, who starts keeping a list of people she hates.  Her boyfriend, who is spiraling down a very bad place, decides to act on this hate list.  This results in him opening fire in a high school, targeting the people on the hate list.  Valerie must deal with the consequences of this list when she returns to school.

It was a great story, quick-paced and had its emotional times.  The ending of the story was a little odd but overall I would definitely give this book a thumbs up!
