Anne Renaud visit

We had the pleasure of having Anne Renaud visit our library today. She spoke to the Grade 5 class from Merton Elementary. She has written several nonfiction children’s books. One of the books, A Bloom of Friendship, was especially interesting to me as it dealt with the Canadian soldiers and the liberation of Holland. My father was part of a regiment that help the Dutch. I recommend that everyone have a look at the book and next year, go to Ottawa and attend the Tulip Festival.
